Job summary

Abbott in the UAE is seeking a Product Specialist to drive sales growth in the Established Pharmaceuticals division from our Abu Dhabi office. You will engage with healthcare professionals, present Abbott EPD products, and build strong customer relationships to advance business plans.

The role requires organizing activities with clear KPIs, territory ownership, and collaboration with the team to achieve targets while maintaining compliance and high scientific standards.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification in pharmaceutical/medical science.
• 4-6 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in UAE.
• Tender Management experience required.
• Primary care therapeutic segment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize appointments and meetings with HCPs.
• Meet both business and scientific needs of HCPs.
• Demonstrate and present Abbott EPD products to HCPs.
• Build and maintain good business relationships with customers.
• Plan and schedules weekly/monthly timetables with clear KPIs.
• Responsible for an assigned geographic area with sales performance targets.

This position works out of our UAE office in the Established Pharmaceutical division.

As a Product Specialist, you'll be responsible for consistent sales growth and achievement of goals and targets for our business in the assigned regions, while collaborating among other team members and sharing knowledge and increase efforts towards aligned sales plans by finding opportunities, improving and gaining new business while maintaining the existing business.

What You'll Do

• Organizing appointments and meetings with HCPs.
• Meeting both the business and scientific needs of HCPs.
• Demonstrating and presenting Abbott EPD products to HCPS.
• Building and maintaining a good business relationship with Customer.
• Plan and schedules weekly and monthly timetables for the day-to-day activities with clear KPIs.
• Responsible for an assigned geographic area with corresponding sales performance plan.
• Providing consistence market feedback.

Required Qualifications

• Educational qualification in pharmaceutical/medical science.
• 4-6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical sales in the UAE market.
• Tender Management experience is required
• Primary care therapeutic segment experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets.
