Job summary

American Hospital Dubai is seeking a Housing Supervisor to oversee Employee Housing operations, including entitlement, allotment, maintenance, inventories and vacancies. The role focuses on ensuring smooth day-to-day management of hospital accommodations and asset control.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in a similar role, strong English communication, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with CQI and customer service principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Exposure to CQI principles.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize tasks to ensure effective unit functioning.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit projects.
• Maintain database of current occupants in hospital accommodations.
• Maintain inventories and assets in accommodations.
• Handle check-in/out of assets and belongings.
• Issue linen, keys, access cards, and welcome packs.
• Address residents' complaints and take appropriate action.
• Liaise with Materials, Finance, Support Services and other departments.
• Record keeping for shifts and inventory movements.

Assisting in overall supervision of all matters related to Employee Housing (Entitlement, Allotment, Maintenance, Inventories and Vacancies)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks ensuring effective functioning of the unit.
• Participates in staff meetings and unit projects
• Performs additional duties as specified by HR Director.
• Records and updates the database of all the present occupants of hospital accommodations.
• Maintains record of inventories available in all the accommodations.
• Maintenance of all assets in the accommodation.
• Takes possession of all assets/ inventories at the time of arrival, shifting accommodation and vacation of accommodation.
• Issuing Linen, Keys, Access Card and Welcome Pack before arrival.
• Ensure the availability of all Assets and Softpack items as per checklist at any moment.
• Keeps safe custody of the keys of all the accommodations.
• Attend the residents complaints and take action accordingly..
• Shifting furniture and other assets as and when required as per residents request and maintaining records accordingly.
• Liaison with Materials/ Finance/ Support Services & other departments.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks ensuring effective functioning of the unit.
