Job summary

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort in Dubai is seeking Hotel/Housekeeping staff to respond to guest requests and maintain cleanliness across pantries and storage areas. You will support room attendants, stock supplies, and ensure health, safety and reporting protocols are followed.

The role involves daily cleaning tasks, reporting maintenance issues, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure a smooth guest experience at a luxury resort.

Responsibilities

• Respond to housekeeping and Guest Service calls (FCS requests).
• Ensure all guest requests are handled in a timely, efficient manner.
• Maintain cleanliness of pantries and stores.
• Check assigned blocks' pantries and stores for maintenance issues and report them.
• Ensure daily cleaning of pantries and service areas.
• Record health and safety concerns promptly.
• Assist room attendants and provide supplies as needed.
• Keep service areas and storage rooms clean, neat, and organized.
• Ensure HK Tuk Tuk are cleaned daily and pantries are mopped several times daily.
• Maintain extra beds/cribs; report maintenance needs to Supervisors/Engineering.
• Ensure emergency exits are clean, debris-free, and lights work.
• Report maintenance issues to Housekeeping Office.
• Stock and organize pantries for room attendants and report shortages.
• Maintain a safe work environment and handle recycling daily.
• Complete shift reports with relevant information.
• Carry master key and phone during shift and coordinate with housekeeping.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to all housekeeping and Guest Service calls (FCS requests)
• Ensure all guest requests are done in a timely efficient manner
• Maintain the cleanliness of the pantries and stores
• Check assigned Blocks pantries and stores for maintenance issues (fused lights) and report them to Housekeeping office.
• Check assigned Blocks pantries and stores for required cleaning during the day
• Ensure all health and safety concerns are promptly recorded and reported
• Assist Room attendants when needed and bring them the necessary supplies
• Ensuring the service areas and storage rooms are clean, neat and organized
• Ensure that all HK Tuk Tuk are cleaned daily
• Ensure that the pantries area is mopped several times a day.
• Ensure that all the extra beds/ cribs are well maintained.
• If required need to bring attention to Supervisors/ Engineering Dept:
• Ensure all emergency exit are clean, free of debris and the lights are working
• Report any maintenance issues to Housekeeping Office.
• Ensure the proper stocking and organization of pantries for room attendant
• Report all shortages of linen stock, guest and cleaning supplies to their leader as soon as possible
• Must maintain a safe work environment
• Responsible for collecting recycling and garbage on a daily basis and their proper disposable
• Ensure their reports are properly filled out and completed for the end of their shift with relevant information noted
• Must be responsible for a master key and phone during their shift and ensure to communicate with the housekeeping office when required.
