Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Supervisor - Housekeeping to lead attendants in guest rooms and corridors to resort standards at our upcoming UAE property.

You will supervise daily operations, conduct briefings, ensure timely attire and grooming, and uphold Forbes 5-Star service and health and safety policies while delivering excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• 5-star hotel or luxury resort experience preferred.
• Hotel management education or high school diploma advantageous.
• Computer literate with strong administrative abilities.
• Ability to lead and develop team members.
• Strong customer focus and fast-paced environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise attendants in guest rooms and corridors per standards.
• Conduct team briefings and align tasks with leadership.

About Wynn Al Marjan Island

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE. Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About the Position

The Supervisor - Housekeeping is responsible to supervise, direct, assist and assure the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to attendants in guest rooms and corridors as per resort standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members report on time, in proper uniform, and well-groomed.
• Conduct briefings for colleagues and attend leadership briefings to align on tasks.
• Champion company goals like the Colleague Engagement Survey and Forbes 5-Star standards.
• Oversee colleague performance to ensure prompt, courteous service and operational compliance.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, pantries, staircases, and lift landings for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Supervise scheduled deep cleaning and special tasks to meet resort standards.
• Report on furnishings, equipment, and facility upkeep to Housekeeping leadership.
• Meet guests to personalize service, resolve complaints, and gather feedback.
• Identify low performers, provide training, and supervise new joiners.
• Ensure procedures align with resort health and safety policies.
• Monitor pantry supplies and maintain records of missing or broken items.
• Maintain communication logs and brief team on high-attention guests.
• Be trained in emergency procedures and first aid.
• Conduct inspections and training based on Forbes checklists.
• Be flexible with scheduling and knowledgeable about task assignments for all roles.

About You

• Graduating in Hotel Management/High school diploma would be advantageous
• Fluent in English – Verbal, written and reading
• Previous 5* experience in similar position would be advantageous
• Computer literate
• Strong administrative abilities and Leadership skills
• Ability to have a strong customer focus
• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
