Job summary

Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a Houseperson to join its Housekeeping team on site in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves executing floor and service area tasks, supporting standards, and handling cleaning supplies and equipment.

Strong English communication, prior hotel experience preferred, and flexibility for weekends and holidays are required. You will assist with linen handling, guest requests, and routine safety and inventory procedures to maintain high standards in a luxury resort

On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites,22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.

About the Position:

Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Houseperson to join our Housekeeping team.

Theprimaryduties and responsibilities of this role are:

Execute assigned floors and service areas according to daily briefings

Support departmental service standards and operational requirements

Use FCS1 to review, update, and manage work assignments

Handle chemicals, cleaning agents, and equipment in line with procedures

Manage section keys, assignments, and shift-related items as per protocol

Remove and dispose of garbage, recycling, linen, and glassware following procedures

Stock floor pantries, linen rooms, and utility areas with required supplies

Clean guest corridors, public areas, Heart of House, storage areas, and fire exits to required standards

Support heavy-duty tasks including furniture movement, deep cleaning, carpet care, and room preparation

Deliver guest request items and operational supplies

Operate, clean, and maintain housekeeping equipment

Report lost & found items, maintenance defects, safety hazards, and unusual conditions

Handle and report damaged or contaminated linen as per procedure

Support Guest Room Valets with required supplies

Assist with linen and supply inventory

Follow security procedures related to keys and controlled areas

Participate in training and support operational changes

Perform additional duties as assigned

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

Previous Hotel experience as Guest Room Attendant would be advantageous

Communication – Fluent in English – Verbal, written and reading

High School diploma, vocational training and/or 1-year work experience

Knowledge of FTG standards is preferred

Experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
