Job summary

Accor in Dubai is seeking a housekeeping attendant dedicated to maintaining sparkling guest rooms and public areas. You will follow established procedures, replenish amenities, and coordinate with the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms meet luxury standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience in a 4-5 star hotel, possess strong guest-service instincts, and are committed to delivering exceptional hospitality.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in housekeeping in a 4-5 star hotel.

Responsibilities

• Get assignment sheet from Housekeeping office.
• Attend communication meetings for the section.
• Ensure proper stock of guest amenities, cleaning supplies, mini bar, clean linen on the trolley.
• Note rooms with MAKE UP sign and Do Not Disturb sign; respect DND at end of shift.
• Supervise end-of-day close of the service area and keep equipment safe and tidy.
• Communicate information to the next shift or supervisor.
• Report to HK Supervisor if guest valuables are exposed.
• Greet guests promptly, provide professional service and assist with guest needs.
• Clean bathrooms, walls and bathtubs; replace towels and amenities; report maintenance.
• Replace rotten flowers, wash vases, and place fresh flowers.
• Make beds, clean bedrooms, and restock stationery and minibar items.

Job Description

• Get assignment sheet from Housekeeping office.
• Take note all guest request & instruction which provided by HK Supervisor.
• Attend the communication meetings of her/his section.
• Proper stock of guest amenities, cleaning supplies, mini bar, clean linen are arranged well on the trolley before starting the work.
• Check and make note of all the rooms with MAKE UP sign.
• Check and make note of all the room with "Do Not Disturb" sign before the end of the shift and respect the DND sign.
• Personally supervise the end of day closing of the service area and makes sure that all equipment are in appropriate place and nothing is left around which can be hazardous.
• At the end of the shift or the day, she/he has to communicate all information that the next shift or the supervisor has to know for a well running of the operations.
• Report to HK Supervisor in case Guest valuables are exposed.
• Follow Key Issue no.1 by Attending to the guest, we acknowledge guests immediately establish eye contact and greet them in friendly manner. Leave everything when recognizing a guest. Provide all guests with professional service
• Follow hospitality key no. 3 while entering / leaving guests' rooms.
• Clean the bathroom, walls and bathtub thoroughly after the bathtub look for hair. Replace fresh towels, amenities and report any maintenance to be attended to Housekeeping.
• Remove the rotten flowers and wash the flower vase and place fresh flowers.
• Make up the bed; clean the bedroom and refill stationeries, matches and mini bar. Look for any spot or hair on the bed linen to be removed.

Qualifications

• Preferably with 1 or more year experience in the same role in a 4-5 star hotel
