Job summary

Jumeirah Al Qasr is seeking an Assistant Manager - Housekeeping to lead and coordinate housekeeping teams across guest rooms and public areas. You will oversee inspections, schedules, and guest services to maintain the resort’s legendary cleanliness and readiness.

The role requires supervisory experience in housekeeping, a strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, and excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree desirable
• Diploma in Hotel Management
• Proven experience in housekeeping or hospitality operations, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, chemicals, safety procedures, and staff management
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and record-keeping

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping attendants, ensuring efficient service delivery, punctuality, and adherence to grooming and uniform standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness, proper maintenance, and readiness for guests.
• Manage deep cleaning schedules, maintain accurate records, and follow up on out-of-order rooms to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Handle guest complaints professionally in line with customer feedback SOPs.
• Assist with inventories, supplier coordination, and administrative tasks, ensuring resources are available and documentation is accurate.
• Support staff development by providing training, performance evaluations, and ensuring compliance with fire, hygiene, health, and safety policies.
