Responsibilities include cleaning patient care areas, disposing of waste, and aiding in room setup for procedures while coordinating with clinic staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping, preferably healthcare.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain patient care areas, offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Dispose of waste following safety protocols.
• Maintain floors, windows, furniture and equipment.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues to the Clinic Operations Manager.
• Follow infection control procedures per UAE regulations.
• Assist in setting up rooms for procedures or consultations.
• Support clinic operations by maintaining a tidy, professional environment.

Job Overview

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors at GluCare Integrated Diabetes. This role ensures that all clinic areas meet high standards of hygiene, organization, and safety in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain all patient care areas, offices, waiting rooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Ensure proper disposal of waste, including medical and non-medical waste, following safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and equipment
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the Clinic Operations Manager
• Follow infection control procedures and hygiene standards as per clinic policy and UAE healthcare regulations
• Assist in setting up rooms for procedures or patient consultations when required
• Support the smooth operation of the clinic by ensuring a tidy, organized, and professional environment

Requirements

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or clinical setting
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Good English communication skills; Arabic is a plus
