Job summary

HYF Medical Center in Dubai is seeking a dependable Housekeeper / Cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic environment throughout the medical center. You will be responsible for cleaning patient areas, consultation rooms, offices and common areas according to hygiene procedures.

We offer an international, multicultural team, an AED 2,000 monthly salary, visa support, medical insurance and paid annual leave. Two positions are available for full-time work in Jumeirah 1.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cleaner, Housekeeper or similar position preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical center, hospital, clinic, hotel or other professional environment is an advantage.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and hygiene procedures.
• Able to use common cleaning equipment and products safely.
• Physically fit and able to perform daily cleaning duties.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Previous experience in the UAE is preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Cleaning: Clean and maintain patient rooms, consultation rooms, treatment areas, offices and common areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors regularly.
• Clean windows, doors, furniture, counters and other surfaces.
• Dust and clean equipment and non-medical surfaces as required.
• Keep the medical center clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Medical Center Hygiene: Follow proper cleaning and hygiene procedures in a healthcare environment.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces regularly.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in patient and treatment areas.
• Properly handle and dispose of general cleaning waste according to company procedures.
• Immediately report any hygiene, cleaning or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Washroom & Common Area Maintenance: Clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms and sinks.
• Refill soap, tissues, toilet paper and other hygiene supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of reception, waiting areas, corridors and staff areas.
• Ensure common areas remain clean and comfortable for patients and staff.
• Cleaning Supplies: Properly use and store cleaning products and equipment.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Keep the cleaning/storage area clean and organized.
• Support for Daily Operations: Assist with preparing rooms before and after patient use when required.
• Support the team in maintaining the overall appearance of the medical center.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as assigned by management.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when interacting with patients, visitors and staff.

We are looking for a responsible, hardworking and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic and professional environment throughout the medical center.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of patient areas, consultation rooms, offices, common areas and other facilities, while following appropriate hygiene and cleaning procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. General Cleaning
