Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dubai seeks a Sales Support Coordinator to assist with competitor research and maintain hotel product knowledge. You will stay aware of external factors affecting performance and keep client information current in the system.

In the absence of senior sales staff, you will respond to inquiries and relay messages promptly. The role requires a hospitality or tourism qualification and at least 2 years in hotel operations, with strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in hotel operations or related hospitality role.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with extensive competitor research and maintain product knowledge for the hotel.
• Monitor factors affecting financial performance including community, business, political and social elements.
• Ensure allocated accounts are updated in records or databases.
• Answer inquiries in absence of Sales Director/Manager/Executive and relay messages promptly.
• Follow up on sales leads as directed by Sales Manager/Executives.
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly reports.
• Prepare and ensure Events Orders are distributed to relevant departments promptly.
• Assist Sales Manager/Executives in their absence.
