Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dubai is seeking a sales-oriented professional to enhance telephone sales for accommodation. You will develop in-depth knowledge of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, enabling you to confidently respond to enquiries from the public, travel industry and staff, including guarantees and cancellation policies.

You will maintain precise records of requests and follow up within 24 hours with properties and guests, while performing day-to-day tasks as directed by the Revenue and Sales Manager or

Qualifications

• Diploma/qualification in Hospitality or Tourism Management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and explain Hyatt policies, rates, guarantees and cancellations.

Responsibilities

• Achieve telephone sales techniques to maximise the sale of accommodation.
• Acquire extensive knowledge of all Hyatt Hotels and Resorts to confidently answer enquiries from the public, travel industry and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of all requests and follow up within 24 hours with the property and the guest or travel agent.
• Perform day-to-day operational tasks as assigned by the Revenue and Sales Manager or Supervisor.

• To acquire extensive knowledge of all Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, to be able to confidently answer enquiries from the general public, travel industry and staff at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. This knowledge includes guarantee and cancellation policies of each Hyatt and Resorts. Rack and Corporate rate structures and methods of payments.
• To achieve a general knowledge of travel industry, including terminology, in-house operations etc.
• Good Communication Skills.
• To maintain accurate records of all requests, following up these requests within 24 hours with both the property and the quest or travel agent.
• To perform day to day operations functions and other tasks as assigned by the Revenue and Sales Manager or Supervisor.
