Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dubai is seeking a Sales/Accounts support role to assist in maintaining product knowledge and conducting competitor research. The role requires strong customer service and communication skills to support the hotel’s sales team.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely information updates, handling inquiries, following up on leads, and distributing event orders. Working in a hotel environment, you will contribute to the operational success of the sales department.

Qualifications

• Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience hotel operations.
• Good customer service, communications and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist to conduct extensive competitor research and maintain excellent Product Knowledge of the hotel.
• Be aware of community, business, political and social factors that may affect the hotel’s financial performance.
• Ensure that the relevant information of all allocated Accounts is updated regularly in the record or electronic database system.
• In the absence of the Director of Sales/Sales Manager/Sales Executive, respond to all telephone calls or inquiries and relay messages to the managers concerned.
• Follow up sales leads as required or assigned by the Sales Managers/Executives.
• Prepare and distribute the weekly/monthly reports in a timely manner.
• Prepare and ensure all Events Orders are distributed to concerned departments on a timely basis.
• Assist the Sales Manager/Executives to follow up on all matters in their absence.
