Royal M Hotel & Resort By Gewan Al Aqah Beach in Fujairah is seeking a Receptionist to be the primary contact for guests, handling arrivals, departures, enquiries, payments and special requests with professionalism.

The role requires strong English, excellent communication and multitasking abilities, with flexibility for shifts. Opera PMS experience is a plus in a five-star setting at a premium beach resort.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in Reception or Front Office in a four- or five-star hotel/resort.
• Strong command of English both spoken and written.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
• Excellent communication, guest service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check-in and check-out procedures.
• Process room assignments, payments, deposits, billing instructions and account settlements.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, activities and local attractions.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns promptly, escalating when required.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Engineering, F&B and other departments to fulfil guest requirements.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, traces and payment details in Opera PMS.
• Promote room upgrades, hotel facilities and additional services where appropriate.
• Balance cash, prepare shift reports and provide complete handovers to the next shift.
• Follow hotel procedures relating to guest privacy, security, cash handling and emergencies.
• Maintain professional grooming and a polished reception and lobby presence.
