Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking a Purchasing & Receiving Officer (Emirati Talent) to manage daily purchasing activities and ensure timely, accurate receipt of goods for the hotel. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, processing orders, and maintaining documentation to support cost control and inventory management.

Ideal candidates have experience in purchasing or receiving, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, receiving, procurement or stores.
• Hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; hotel systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities in line with hotel policies.
• Prepare and process purchase orders based on requisitions.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, prices, and delivery.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods and verify against orders.
• Ensure proper documentation and costing accuracy.
• Support inventory control and stock management.
• Work with hotel departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain records of purchases, deliveries, and invoices.
