Job summary

Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is seeking a Purchasing professional to manage day-to-day procurement, receiving and cost-control in line with hotel policies and supplier agreements. You will prepare and process purchase orders, coordinate with suppliers for quotes and delivery, inspect received goods, and maintain accurate records with Finance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with multiple hotel departments in a fast-paced luxury

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, receiving, procurement, stores or similar in hospitality.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to coordinate with multiple departments in a fast-paced hotel.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process purchase orders based on requisitions and requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, prices, availability and delivery schedules.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods and compare with orders and specs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, invoices and receiving reports.
• Support inventory control and stock management activities when required.
• Work with Finance to ensure purchasing records match invoices and documents.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene and food safety requirements.
