Job summary

Accor is seeking a procurement professional for Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing day-to-day purchasing, receiving goods, and coordinating with hotel departments to ensure quality products and cost control.

Responsibilities include processing POs, verifying deliveries, maintaining records, and supporting inventory control, while ensuring health and safety compliance and seamless collaboration with finance.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, receiving, procurement, stores, or a similar role in hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of purchasing procedures and documentation.
• Good understanding of supplier coordination and cost-control principles.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve receiving issues efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with hotel procurement or inventory systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work with multiple departments in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities in line with hotel policies and procedures.
• Prepare and process purchase orders from approved requisitions and needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, prices, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods and verify against purchase orders and specs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, deliveries, invoices, and receiving reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and approvals before processing purchases and receiving goods.
• Monitor supplier performance, pricing, and delivery times; ensure product quality.
• Support inventory control and stock management when required.
