Job summary

Fivehotelsandresorts is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer in Dubai to supervise and execute building services maintenance across hotel operations. The role requires hands-on work with mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems and a strong focus on safety and reliability.

You will monitor day-to-day systems, read technical drawings, diagnose issues, and coordinate with the engineering team to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within hospitality.
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in building operations.
Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Commitment to health, safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain day-to-day operation of building systems and engineering equipment to ensure uninterrupted hotel operations.
Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other building services systems.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, breakdowns and technical emergencies, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across the property in accordance with established standards and procedures.
Troubleshoot mechanical and building services equipment and identify the root cause of technical issues.
