Job summary

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee hotel engineering operations in Abu Dhabi. You will inspect HVAC and electrical systems, lead preventive maintenance, and coordinate with other departments to ensure optimal uptime.

The role requires strong English communication, leadership, and a degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, with expertise in AutoCAD and cost-conscious maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering is required.
• Experience in maintenance management for high-rise hotels or residential projects.
• Strong English communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Regularly visit and inspect major mechanical and electrical equipment and ensure efficient operation.
• Prepare a preventive maintenance program covering HVAC, guest rooms, public areas, and equipment.
• Ensure equipment is maintained per manufacturers' instructions and preventive program.
• Respond to maintenance requests and liaise with other departments for timely completion.
• Advise on cost-saving measures for energy use and equipment upgrades.
• Supervise engineering staff and participate in management meetings.
• Makes regular building inspections and coordinates with external contractors.
• Coordinate refurbishment with Housekeeping and Front Office.
• Knowledge of local building codes, Abu Dhabi Civil Defense, DOE, and ADOSH.
