Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hotel engineering, maintenance, or facilities management.
• Knowledge of safety systems, preventive maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team.
• Preferably with IHG brand or UAE hospitality industry experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide engineering technicians in daily maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and service tasks across the hotel.
• Ensure compliance with fire, health, safety, and building regulations.
• Monitor energy use and assist in implementing cost-saving initiatives.
• Support the Chief Engineer in managing budgets, inventories, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with other departments to provide engineering support for guest satisfaction.
• Respond to and resolve guest-related engineering issues promptly.
