Job summary

Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, part of Oaks Hotels, Resorts & Suites, is seeking a guest-focused team member for front-of-house operations in its restaurant. You will greet guests, provide menus, and assist with reservations while ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities include seating guests, answering questions, handling complaints, and collaborating with the team to deliver excellent service. Strong English skills and hospitality experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and place them on a waiting list as necessary.
• Provide guests with menus and answer initial questions.
• Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas.
• Assign guests to tables while keeping rotation in mind so servers receive the right number of customers.
• Engage with guests to ensure they are happy with food and service.
• Respond to complaints and help resolve them.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations and answer questions.
• Know the menu to answer inquiries.
• Help out with other positions in the restaurant as needed.
• Provide great customer service.
