Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a restaurant-focused host/seat guest at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai to greet guests, manage reservations and ensure exemplary service. The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude.

Based at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, you will support daily dining operations, coordinate seating, and assist in other positions as needed to maintain smooth service flow.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operation.
• Eye for detail to achieve operational excellence.
• Excellent guest service skills and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests as they enter and placing them on a waiting list.
• Providing menus and answering initial questions.
• Seating guests at tables or in waiting areas.
• Assigning guests to tables to balance rotations.
• Engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Responding to complaints and helping resolve them.
• Answering phone calls, taking reservations and answering questions.
• Knowledge of the menu and offerings.
