Job summary

AccorHotel in Ajman is seeking a Restaurant Hostess to be the first point of contact, greet guests, manage reservations, and coordinate seating to ensure a warm, efficient dining experience.

You will maintain seating plans, relay wait times, assist with the entrance area, and support the service team while upholding hotel standards of grooming and guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Professional friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in busy periods.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g. OpenTable SevenRooms) is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts weekends and public holidays.

• Assist in collecting guest feedback and communicating it to the management team.
• Maintain professional grooming and appearance in line with hotel standards.
• Support the restaurant team with additional tasks as required.
