Dorchester Collection, a collection of luxury hotels, invites applications for a Host Supervisor in Dubai. You will lead the host and security teams to maintain safety and exceptional guest service across One Palm Jumeirah.

The role requires strong leadership, CCTV and access control oversight, incident response coordination, and the ability to mentor the team to Dorchester Collection standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for development within our Academy

• Experience in security or host supervision within luxury hospitality.
• SIRA certification or equivalent security qualification.

• Ability to manage incidents professionally with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily activities of the host/security team to ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain a strong visible presence across the property while delivering exceptional service.
• Coordinate incident response procedures for emergencies, accidents, fire alarms and evacuations.
• Monitor CCTV and access control to maintain property safety.
• Train and mentor team members to uphold standards and service excellence.

What you'll do

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delivering a safe, secure and welcoming environment for everyone on property.

• You will be responsible for supervising the daily activities of the host/security team to ensure all operational and safety procedures are always followed.
• Maintain a strong visible presence across the property while ensuring guests and residents receive exceptional service.
• Coordinate incident response procedures, including emergencies, accidents, fire alarms and evacuation protocols.
• Monitor security systems, CCTV operations and access control procedures to maintain the safety of the property.
• Support investigations, incident reporting and conflict resolution professional and confidentially
• Work closely with Duty Mangers and operational departments to minimize risks and ensure smooth day to day operations.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards or security concerns.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, health & safety regulations and company policies always.
• Train, motivate and mentor team members to uphold Dorchester Collection standards and deliver exceptional service.
• Maintain accurate records, logs and reports related to incidents, shift activities and operational matters.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.

What you'll bring

• You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
• Previous experience as a Security Supervisor, Host Supervisor or similar role within luxury hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury residential operations, emergency procedures and guest service excellence.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to manage incidents professionally while maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
• SIRA certification or equivalent security qualification is required.
• Proficient in report writing and basic computer systems.
• Communication is what keeps our department running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language. Additional languages are highly valued.
