Job summary

Novotel Dubai Al Barsha is seeking a detail-oriented Steward to uphold cleanliness, organization and food safety across the hotel’s facilities. You will support kitchen and service teams, perform daily and deep cleaning, and ensure safe handling of chemicals and equipment.

The role requires strong HACCP knowledge, physical stamina for long shifts, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Steward in a hospitality or food service environment.
• Solid understanding of HACCP standards, food safety, and sanitation best practices.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchens and related zones.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and hygiene standards across the facility.
• Organize daily cleaning tasks and deep cleaning programs as scheduled.
• Handle washing, sanitizing and proper storage of crockery and equipment.
• Support kitchen and food service teams and respond to urgent cleaning needs.
