Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a DHA-licensed Homecare Nurse in Dubai to deliver comprehensive in-home nursing care. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Registered Nurse license (DHA).
  • BLS certification required; ACLS an advantage.
  • Homecare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes per physician orders and guidelines.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status.
  • Administer medications, injections, IV therapy and other treatments.
  • Perform wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care and other procedures as required.
  • Monitor vital signs and clinical progress; develop and evaluate care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, nutrition and home safety.
  • Document care accurately; adhere to DHA regulations and policies.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and initiate interventions when needed.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, pharmacists and other professionals.
  • Maintain infection prevention standards and proper use of equipment.

Job description

The Homecare Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes while ensuring high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, and compassionate care. The nurse assesses patients' health conditions, administers treatments, educates patients and families, and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes in accordance with physician orders and established clinical guidelines.
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in health status.
  • Administer medications, injections, intravenous (IV) therapy, and other prescribed treatments.
  • Perform wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, suctioning, and other specialized nursing procedures as required.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs and clinical progress.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, nutrition, and home safety.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and initiate emergency interventions when required.
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians, therapists, pharmacists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain infection prevention and control standards during all patient interactions.
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of medical equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing professional development.
  • Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, and mandatory educational programs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Registered Nurse license.
  • Valid DHA Registered Nurse License or DHA Eligibility Letter (for Dubai).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is an advantage.
  • Homecare experience is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Previous experience in home healthcare, medical-surgical, OPD, or rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
