Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a Pharmacy leader to drive home infusion program development, from clinical validation to implementation planning and operational support. The role focuses on developing best practice policies and medication protocols for specialty products and creating seamless workflows for referrals.

The candidate will build staffing models based on volume indicators and collaborate with partner health systems to shape the business plan, with travel up to 15% to sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Valid Pharmacist License is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience requested.
• Strong skills in communication, critical thinking and organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical aspects of home infusion pharmacy business case development, implementation planning, and operational support.
• Provide clinical validation for data assumptions used in home infusion business plans.
• Develop best practice policies and clinical medication protocols for specialty infused products.
• Implement frictionless workflows for home infusion referrals, including informatics tools and documentation.
• Develop staffing models and hours of operation based on economic volume indicators.
• Engage with partner health system clinic stakeholders to inform business plan development.
• Perform up to 15% nation-wide travel.
