Job summary

Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine histopathology tests in line with professional standards. Required is a Bachelor's in medical laboratory sciences with 3–5 years in anatomic pathology, plus strong knowledge of accreditation standards and LIS systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory sciences or related field.
• 3–5 years full-time experience in anatomic pathology.
• Familiar with international accreditation standards.
• Proficient with LIS and SOPs; able to document findings.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort histopathology samples per standards.
• Perform routine histopathology processing of specimens.
• Prepare solutions, stains, and reagents according to procedures.
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Contribute to training, health and safety discussions.
• Operate and calibrate standard laboratory equipment; maintain hygiene.
