Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a skilled Specialist Pathologist to join a leading UAE healthcare facility. You will interpret tissues and clinical specimens, report histology and cytology results, and support accurate patient diagnosis.

Key duties include participating in tumor boards, supervising special stains and IHC, and ensuring timely, high-quality reports. Candidates with MD/DNB/FCPS and 3+ years post-specialization are preferred.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree is required.
• MD/DNB/FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Pathology is required.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and interpret tissue, blood, fluid, and other clinical specimens.
• Perform and report histopathology, cytology, and relevant laboratory investigations.
• Provide accurate diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making.
• Review and correlate pathology findings with clinical and imaging information.
• Participate in multidisciplinary discussions and tumor boards when required.
• Perform or supervise appropriate special stains, immunohistochemistry, and other diagnostic techniques.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
• Collaborate with clinicians, surgeons, oncologists, and laboratory teams.
• Maintain accurate pathology records and documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement, audits, and continuing professional development.
