Position Overview

AECOM is seeking a Highway Surveyor in Dubai, UAE to support major transportation and RTA infrastructure projects. This on‑site role focuses on construction surveying, control point establishment, and alignment verification for roadworks, utilities, and drainage systems, ensuring precision and compliance with approved engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform survey works under the supervision of the Senior Highway Surveyor
• Establish horizontal and vertical control points with accurate documentation
• Conduct pre‑construction surveys to verify site conditions and design compliance
• Provide layout and staking support for roads, pavements, curbs, drainage, and utilities
• Monitor contractor alignment, grading, and levels against approved drawings
• Coordinate with contractor surveyors and Resident Engineers to resolve discrepancies
• Verify survey accuracy through traverse closures and bench circuit checks
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment including GPS and total stations
• Prepare and update as‑built drawings and detailed survey records
• Ensure compliance with project safety procedures during field operations

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 7–10 years of experience in civil construction and infrastructure projects
