Job summary

Milaha in Dubai seeks a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations including tallying, container handling, and cargo verification using RF terminals and barcode scanning.

Responsibilities include taking instructions from the Warehouse In charge, ensuring cargo care, and maintaining safety and clean workplace standards while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• 02 Years of professional experience in warehouse or logistics (minimum).
• Proficiency in English and Hindi for daily communication.
• Ability to follow instructed safety procedures and work with team.

Responsibilities

• Take work instructions from Tally Clerks, Warehouse In charge.
• Un-stuff and stuff containers and other vehicles with team provided.
• Fill in tally sheet, track barcodes if required.
• Ensure that allotted team handles cargo with care and report damages or shortages.
• Participate in value addition jobs carried out at the warehouse.
• Observe safety rules and use provided safety gear.
• Keep work place clean and switch off unused lights/fans.

To execute the day to day activities at the Warehouse

Are accountable for their acts and omissions.

Responsibility:

To follow agreed safe systems of work; to follow training and instructions; and to report accidents, incidents and near misses.

Authority:

To stop work if they think the work is unsafe.

• Take work instructions from Tally Clerks, Warehouse In charge.
• Un-stuff and stuff containers and other vehicles with team provided.
• Fill in tally sheet, track barcodes if required.
• Ensure that allotted team handles cargo with care and report any damages or shortages observed to the respective Tally Clerk.
• Participate in value addition jobs carried out at the warehouse.
• Observe safety rules and use uniform and safety shoes provided.
• Keep work place clean at all times; shut all doors, shut off all lights, fans when not required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Follow specified systems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other requirements/standards
• Work safely at all times, protecting the health and safety of everyone in the workplace
