Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Warehouse In-Charge to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will maintain inventory accuracy, supervise staff, and coordinate with procurement and logistics to support timely order fulfillment.

The role requires strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, ERP systems, and proven leadership. You will ensure safety, compliance, and efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment in the UAE.

Job description

The Warehouse In-Charge is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role includes managing inventory accuracy, coordinating with suppliers and internal departments, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and supervising warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and system updates
• Ensure proper organization, labeling, and storage of items for easy retrieval
• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, instruments and facilities
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to shipments, deliveries, and inventory movements
• Implement and enforce safety guidelines, cleanliness, and warehouse protocols
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and admin. teams to support operations
• Plan and supervise daily tasks of warehouse staff; provide training when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Responsible for managing the receiving and dispatch of domestic and international shipments.
• Knowledge of UAE warehousing regulations is an advantage.
