Job summary

Selby Jennings in Dubai seeks an experienced, relationship-driven professional to join its client coverage team. The role focuses on developing and managing relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices, private wealth intermediaries across the GCC, and raising assets.

You will move from private banking or wealth advisory into hedge funds, educate investors on hedge fund strategies, and manage the full fundraising cycle from prospecting to onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in Private Banking, Private Wealth Management, Wealth Advisory, or a related client-facing investment role.
• Existing GCC relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices, and private wealth investors.
• Strong understanding of investment products and portfolio construction.
• Proven track record of building and managing client relationships.
• Experience with hedge funds, private markets, or multi-asset solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with HNWIs, UHNWIs, family offices, private banks, wealth advisors, and other private wealth channels across the GCC.
• Generate new business opportunities and raise capital across the region.
• Manage the full fundraising cycle from prospecting through to onboarding and relationship management.
• Conduct client meetings, investment presentations, due diligence sessions, and portfolio reviews.
• Act as a trusted advisor to investors regarding hedge fund and alternative investment solutions.
• Work closely with investment, product, and investor relations teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.
• Maintain an active pipeline of prospective investors and provide regular reporting on business development activity.
• Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
