Our client is a leading and well-established global hedge fund with a strong institutional investor base and a long-standing track record across alternative investment strategies. As part of its continued commitment to the Middle East, the firm is seeking an experienced distribution professional to lead fundraising and client relationship management efforts across the GCC region.

This is a senior, high-profile role offering the opportunity to represent a highly regarded investment platform and play a key part in the firm's long-term growth strategy across one of the most important institutional investor markets globally.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business development and client coverage activities across the GCC, acting as the firm's primary commercial representative in the region. The individual will build and deepen relationships with sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, private banks and other institutional investors while driving asset growth and maintaining the highest standards of client service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead fundraising and distribution efforts across the GCC region.
• Develop and execute a strategic business plan to grow assets under management from institutional and wholesale investors.
• Originate and maintain relationships with sovereign wealth funds, government-related entities, family offices, pension funds, consultants and private wealth channels.
• Act as the senior point of contact for existing investors, ensuring exceptional client service and relationship management.
• Work closely with investment, product and senior leadership teams to develop the firm's presence across the region.
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, industry conferences and relevant market events.
• Maintain a strong understanding of investor sentiment, market dynamics and competitive developments within the Middle East.
• Support due diligence processes, fund presentations and bespoke investor requests.

Candidate Profile

It is absolutely essential that the candidate satisfies the following 3 criteria:

• A proven track record raising capital for hedge fund strategies.
• Extensive experience covering investors across the GCC region.
• Fluent Arabic and English language skills.

The following criteria are also desirable

• Demonstrated success in both new business generation and existing client relationship management.
• Experience working with sophisticated institutional and private wealth investors.
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to operate autonomously while collaborating effectively within a global organisation.

Preferred Background

• Experience representing a hedge fund, fund of hedge funds, alternative asset manager or institutional investment platform.
• Existing network across sovereign wealth funds, family offices, pension funds and private banks in the GCC.
• Experience operating in a senior distribution, investor relations, fundraising or client coverage capacity.
