Job summary

HYF Medical Center in Dubai seeks an IT Specialist to manage and support its IT infrastructure, networks, HIS/EMR platforms and business applications. You will ensure secure operations, provide end-user support and coordinate with vendors.

The role emphasizes IT security, data backup and system maintenance in a clinical setting, with emphasis on reliability and patient-care continuity. UAE-based, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant IT experience.
• Experience in a medical center, hospital, clinic or healthcare organization preferred.
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and common business applications.
• Experience with HIS / EMR systems is highly preferred.
• Experience with email systems, cloud platforms, networking and user account management.
• Basic knowledge of IT security, data backup and access control.
• Experience coordinating with IT vendors and service providers.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure & Network Management: Maintain and monitor the medical center's IT infrastructure, network and internet connectivity.
• Hardware & Software Support: Install, configure and maintain computers, printers, scanners and other IT equipment; provide user support.
• HIS / EMR & Healthcare Systems: Support HIS, EMR and healthcare management platforms; assist with system access and troubleshooting.
• Business Software & IT Systems: Support CRM, HR, accounting and ERP systems; manage email accounts and access permissions.
• Data Backup & Security: Implement regular backups; ensure data security and recovery capabilities.
• CCTV, Access Control & Communication: Basic support for CCTV, access control and telecom/WhatsApp Business systems.
• IT Helpdesk & User Support: Respond to daily IT requests; diagnose, resolve issues; provide training as needed.
• IT Procurement & Vendor Coordination: Assist with purchasing; obtain quotes; coordinate with vendors.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain IT asset records; keep licenses and maintenance contracts; report status to management.
