Job summary

Accorhotel in Abu Dhabi Downtown is seeking an HSE Coordinator to lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives across a luxury hotel complex. You will develop and deliver HSE training, conduct risk assessments, and support audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

You will collaborate with maintenance, operations and management to promote a culture of safety, prepare dashboards, and drive continuous improvement in incident prevention and food safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HSE role preferably in the hotel industry.
• NEBOSH or OSHAD certifications preferred.
• HACCP Certification (Level 2 or 3).
• First Aider & CPR certifications preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
• Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation and safety training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficiency in occupational health and safety software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees, contractors and other stakeholders fostering a culture of safety, health and environmental awareness.
• Provide food safety trainings to culinary team members and those dealing with food services.
• Participate in audits (EHS/HACCP/ISO/Sustainability/OHSMS) compliance and/or management system audits.
• Safety Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities and equipment.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze HSE performance data, prepare reports and present findings to management.
• Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a cohesive HSE approach; communicate initiatives and performance updates.
• Prepare monthly dashboards for all audits conducted in the month.
