Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Coordinator to join our clients team at a prestigious recreational club in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing monitoring and improving health safety and environmental policies to ensure compliance with local regulations and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop implement and maintain HSE policies and procedures aligned with UAE regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to staff and contractors.
• Monitor and enforce safe work practices across all club activities including sports leisure and food & beverage operations.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality Civil Defense and other regulatory authorities.
• Investigate and report accidents incidents and near misses recommending preventive measures.
• Maintain HSE documentation permits and records for audits and inspections.
• Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure effective crisis management planning.

Requirements

• 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Quality assurance Food safety audit or consulting experience.
• Food safety certifications such as HACCP is mandatory.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is mandatory.
• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Health or related field.
