Job summary

Jumeirah in Dubai is seeking a Resort Health Club Manager to lead the daily operations of the Spa and Health Club within our luxury setting. You will guide the Fitness team, ensure exceptional guest service, and uphold the brand's standards across all facilities.

The role requires strong budgeting skills, a proactive approach to guest requests, and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. This position offers competitive, tax-free UAE remuneration and opportunities for professional

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the Health Club, ensuring all guests and members have a pleasant experience in line with Jumeirah standards.
• Manage and motivate the Fitness team to drive personal training revenue and provide excellent customer service.
• Oversee the Sales Executive to drive monthly/yearly membership sales and develop strategies to increase revenue per membership.
• Create and implement innovative classes and programs that support the Jumeirah brand and monitor participation.
• Ensure maintenance issues are reported, manage inventories and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Work closely with marketing to drive new memberships and retain existing members through targeted promotions.

About the Job

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Manage the daily operations of the Health Club, ensuring all guests and members have a pleasant experience in line with Jumeirah standards.
• Manage and motivate the Fitness team to drive personal training revenue and provide excellent customer service, ensuring all team members are well-trained and adhere to hotel standards.
• Oversee the Sales Executive to drive monthly/yearly membership sales, implement strategies to increase revenue per membership, and develop activities to generate new leads.
• Create and implement innovative classes and programs that support the Jumeirah brand, monitor participation, gather feedback, and adjust keep offerings engaging and relevant.
• Ensure all maintenance issues are reported and tracked promptly, manage inventories, stock control, and purchasing systems to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Work closely with the marketing team to drive new memberships and retain existing members through targeted promotions and offers.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Previous experience in Spa management in a luxury hospitality role.
• Strong team management skills and results-driven work environment.
• Ability to manage budgets, analyse financial reports.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to handling guest requests and service recovery.
• Proficiency in English is essential; additional language skills are highly desirable.
