Job summary

Binance in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Head of Risk to lead the enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide independent oversight to executive management and the board within ADGM.

The role requires a degree-level qualification, extensive risk management experience in exchanges or crypto environments, strong analytical and communication skills, and proven ability to engage regulators and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, Mathematics, Engineering, or another relevant field.
• Extensive risk management experience gained within exchanges, clearing houses, capital markets, financial market infrastructure, or virtual asset environments.
• Solid knowledge of ADGM regulatory framework and key risk principles for financial market infrastructures.
• Proven experience managing or overseeing risk frameworks across market, liquidity, collateral, and operational resilience.
• Demonstrated experience interacting with regulators, Boards, senior management, and other key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework across all key risk categories.
• Oversee ongoing risk monitoring and production of regular risk reports for senior management and the board.
• Act as the primary risk liaison with the FSRA and ensure regulatory risk requirements are met.
• Ensure risk governance is integrated into decision-making structures and committees.
• Review new business initiatives for risk impacts and maintain accountability for risk oversight.
