Job summary

Bybit is seeking a Chief Risk Officer based in Abu Dhabi to establish and oversee the risk management framework for its exchange and clearing operations. You will ensure market integrity, liquidity risk, and operational resilience in line with ADGM and FSRA rules.

Lead risk governance, stress testing, and reporting to the Board while collaborating with regulators and senior stakeholders to balance innovation with robust controls.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in risk management within financial market infrastructure or crypto entities.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk principles.
• Experience engaging with regulators, boards, and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain risk management framework aligned with ADGM rules and MIR.
• Oversee risk governance for market, clearing, liquidity, and operational resilience.
• Monitor risk profile and ensure risks stay within appetite limits.
• Lead stress testing, scenario analysis, and recovery planning exercises.
• Prepare risk reports for Board, Risk Committee and senior management.
