Job summary

Hamilton Aquatics is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the operations of our aquatics departments in the UAE. You will ensure efficient planning, coordination and delivery of all programmes and services while maintaining regulatory compliance and high safety standards.

Responsibilities include managing stakeholder relationships, staff planning across programmes, and overseeing contract renewals and due diligence to secure new business.

Qualifications

• Sufficient operations and logistics management experience.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Experience using ERP or management systems.
• Swimming or sports industry experience is highly desirable.
• Local knowledge of UAE and regional sports businesses.
• Knowledge of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Oversee planning of teaching, coaching, and lifeguarding staff requirements across all programmes and venues, including leave management and staff cover.
• Oversee health and safety requirements and ensure proper procedures for staff compliance, pool quality, and site handovers.
• Manage pool and curriculum contract renewals in a timely manner; collaborate on due diligence to secure new contracts.
• Liaise with all departments to ensure operational elements are updated in the Hamilton Bay system.
• Ensure activities and programmes adhere to local laws, governing body regulations, and health and safety standards.
