Hamilton Aquatics in Dubai is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead the operations of our aquatics departments. You will ensure efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of programmes and services while upholding safety, regulatory compliance, and strong stakeholder relationships.

The role oversees multiple departments, drives performance, and ensures all activities meet organisational objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Administration, or a related field.
• Pool Plant Operator qualification (desirable).
• Experience in operations and logistics management.
• Swimming or sports industry experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of UAE/regional sports business landscape.
• Experience using ERP or management systems.
• Experience producing and analysing reports for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication and relationships with stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Plan teaching, coaching, and lifeguarding staff across programmes and venues.
• Lead health and safety compliance, pool quality, and site handovers.
• Oversee contract renewals and support due diligence for new contracts.

Job description

Hamilton Aquatics in Dubai is looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Operations to lead and manage the operations of our aquatics departments.

This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient planning, coordination, and delivery of all programmes and services, while maintaining operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong stakeholder relationships across the business. The successful candidate will oversee multiple departments, drive operational performance, and ensure all programmes are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with the organisation's objectives.

Key Objectives

• Manage communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Oversee the planning of teaching, coaching, and lifeguarding staff requirements across all programmes and venues, including effective coordination with department leaders and relevant stakeholders for leave management and staff cover.
• Oversee the implementation of health and safety requirements and ensure proper procedures are in place for staff compliance, pool quality, and site handovers.
• Manage and ensure pool and curriculum contract renewals are completed in a timely manner and collaborate with the Operations Director and relevant stakeholders on due diligence activities to secure new contracts.
• Liaise with all departments to ensure all operational elements are regularly updated and maintained within the Hamilton Bay system.
• Ensure all activities and programmes adhere to local laws, governing body regulations, and health and safety standards.

Desired Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Administration, or a related field.
• Pool Plant Operator qualification (desirable).

• Sufficient experience in operations and logistics management.
• Swimming or sports industry experience is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of industry trends.
• Local knowledge of UAE and regional sports businesses.
