Job summary

Ambitek UAE is recruiting two operational leaders to help set up and run a new joinery manufacturing facility in Dubai. The project is still in the planning phase with capex up to AED 1 billion, offering clear ownership of the factory floor from day one.

You will lead production operations, drive readiness and quality, and coordinate with design, project and commercial teams through build, commissioning and into full production.

Qualifications

• Fifteen years in joinery or fit-out manufacturing with substantial management experience.
• Hands-on leadership style with practical floor-based decision making.
• Experience in the GCC market is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Production Operations: Workflow design, capacity planning, shift scheduling and output delivery once the factory is live.
• Operational Readiness: Input into factory layout, machinery selection, installation and commissioning during the setup phase.
• Quality: Establishing and maintaining quality systems, inspection processes and finish standards across all joinery output.
• Programme and Delivery: Coordinating production against project schedules and site handover dates.
• Materials and Supply: Material planning, stock control and supplier coordination on the factory floor.
• Team Leadership: Recruiting, training and managing supervisors, craftsmen and production staff.
• Health and Safety: Enforcing safe working practices and regulatory compliance across the facility.
• Coordination: Working with design, project and commercial teams to keep production aligned with business needs.

Joinery Manufacturing Leadership Roles (x2): Greenfield Factory Operations

Location: Dubai, UAE | Leading Real Estate Developer | CAPEX up to AED 1 billion

Following the appointment of the executive who will lead this division, we are now hiring two operational leaders to help set up and run a new joinery manufacturing facility. The project is still in its planning phase. These roles will be focused on the operations and day-to-day running of the factory, reporting into the head of the entire joinery division and working alongside them through build, commissioning and into full production.

Scope of Responsibility

• Production Operations: Workflow design, capacity planning, shift scheduling and output delivery once the factory is live
• Operational Readiness: Input into factory layout, machinery selection, installation and commissioning during the setup phase
• Quality: Establishing and maintaining quality systems, inspection processes and finish standards across all joinery output
• Programme and Delivery: Coordinating production against project schedules and site handover dates
• Materials and Supply: Material planning, stock control, supplier coordination and cost discipline on the factory floor
• Team Leadership: Recruiting, training and managing supervisors, craftsmen and production staff
• Health and Safety: Enforcing safe working practices and regulatory compliance across the facility
• Coordination: Working closely with design, project and commercial teams to keep production aligned with business needs
• 15 years in joinery or fit-out manufacturing, with a substantial part of that in a management position
• Hands-On experience running factory operations, ideally including involvement in a new facility setup or major expansion
• Strong understanding of joinery production processes, from shop drawings through to dispatch
• Proven ability to manage production teams and maintain output and quality under pressure
• Experience in the GCC market preferred
• Practical, floor-based leadership style with sound commercial awareness
