Head of E-commerce

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of E-commerce to take end-to-end ownership of FMCG online business across its e-commerce website and marketplaces.

The role will be responsible for driving online revenue, category growth, marketplace performance, conversion, assortment, pricing, promotions, inventory and overall e-commerce profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the overall e-commerce strategy, revenue and profitability across the website and marketplaces.
• Manage a portfolio of SKUs across multiple categories.
• Deliver an annual/monthly sales target of AED 1 million monthly.
• Drive online growth through assortment planning, pricing, promotions, digital merchandising and marketplace optimisation.
• Own website performance including traffic, conversion, AOV, product visibility and customer experience.
• Oversee Amazon, Noon and other marketplace performance through the respective KAMs.
• Analyse sales, SKU performance, margins, inventory, conversion and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
• Work closely with Category, Buying, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure product availability and timely launches.
• Plan and execute seasonal and festive e-commerce campaigns, particularly around major Indian festivals.
• Develop strategies to improve marketplace rankings, visibility, advertising performance and organic sales.
• Own the e-commerce P&L and ensure achievement of sales, margin and profitability targets.
• Lead and manage the e-commerce team and marketplace account managers.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 7 12+ years of experience in E-commerce, Marketplace Management, Digital Commerce or Online Retail.
• Proven experience managing large SKU portfolios and significant online revenue targets.
• Strong experience with Amazon, Noon and e-commerce websites.
• Strong understanding of online merchandising, marketplace operations, pricing, promotions, inventory and performance marketing.
• Experience managing teams and multiple online channels.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with proven ownership of revenue and profitability.
