Business Transformation and Strategy
Assess the company's existing business model, service portfolio, organizational structure, capabilities, and financial performance.
Develop and execute a practical business transformation and growth plan.
- Restructure the business into clearly defined and commercially accountable service lines.
- Identify operational, commercial, technical, and organizational gaps.
- Establish pricing models, margin requirements, sales processes, and performance indicators.
- Work with management to develop annual budgets, revenue targets, and a three‑year growth plan.
- Monitor the profitability and scalability of each business line.
New Services and Business‑Line Development
- Identify and launch value‑added services aligned with UAE market demand and regulatory developments.
- Develop business lines in areas such as UAE eInvoicing and ERP compliance, Managed IT and cloud services, Cybersecurity and business continuity, Data privacy and compliance, Business‑process automation and AI solutions.
- Convert technical capabilities into standardized, repeatable, and commercially viable service packages.
- Prepare business cases, pricing, delivery models, and go‑to‑market plans for new services.
- Evaluate whether new capabilities should be developed internally or delivered through strategic partners.
ERP Commercialization
- Develop the commercial and go‑to‑market strategy for the company's in‑house ERP.
- Define ERP packages, target sectors, licensing or subscription models, implementation fees, and annual support plans.
- Identify priority sectors and develop industry‑specific ERP solutions.
- Lead ERP demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, and major customer engagements.
- Work with the technical and implementation teams to establish a structured product roadmap.
- Support integration with eInvoicing, cloud, cybersecurity, reporting, and automation solutions.
Business Development and Sales
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline of corporate, enterprise, and government‑related opportunities.
- Personally lead major sales opportunities from prospecting through negotiation and closing.
- Develop relationships with decision‑makers, technology leaders, finance executives, and procurement stakeholders.
- Cross‑sell ERP, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, and other solutions to existing outsourcing customers.
- Establish disciplined CRM usage, forecasting, opportunity management, and sales reporting.
- Develop proposals, presentations, commercial offers, and tender responses.
- Recruit, develop, and manage the future business development and sales team.
- Ensure that sales growth is profitable, collectible, and operationally deliverable.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and establish partnerships with ERP, eInvoicing, cloud, cybersecurity, backup, AI, and other technology providers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, recurring margins, customer ownership, and deal‑registration protection.
- Develop reseller implementation, referral, and technology‑integration partnerships.
- Manage joint customer engagements and partner‑led market‑development activities.
- Evaluate vendor performance and the commercial value of each partnership.
Customer Growth and Account Development
- Introduce structured account management and customer‑success practices.
- Conduct strategic reviews with key customers to identify additional requirements.
- Improve customer retention, contract renewal, and service adoption.
- Develop recurring revenue through annual contracts, subscriptions, and managed services.
- Ensure effective coordination between sales, presales, technical delivery, and customer support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT services, ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, digital transformation, or technology solutions.
- At least 5 years in a senior business development, transformation, commercial, or business‑unit leadership role.
- Proven experience restructuring, establishing, or scaling an IT services or technology business.
- Demonstrated success in generating and closing corporate or enterprise technology opportunities.
- Strong understanding of IT outsourcing, managed services, ERP implementation, software commercialization, and recurring‑revenue models.
- Experience building new service lines, commercial packages, and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Experience developing and managing technology partnerships.
- Good understanding of the UAE technology market, regulatory environment, and corporate procurement landscape.
- Experience with government or large‑enterprise opportunities is an advantage.
- Commercially strong, with experience in pricing, margins, budgeting, forecasting, and business‑unit profitability.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
