Job summary

Dulsco, a UAE-based provider of integrated services, seeks an experienced accounting leader to manage transactional accounting, payroll, billing and reconciliations. The role emphasizes IFRS compliance and external audit coordination within a dynamic finance team.

Ideal candidates will have aPost Graduate qualification (ACCA/CPA/CIMA) and at least five years of PQE in the region, with the ability to lead and mentor staff in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate qualification with ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in the region.
• Currently based in UAE and holding UAE work authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Balance sheet reconciliations: record and reconcile all assets and liabilities.
• Transactional working capital: accurately record bank transactions and balances.
• Provisions & accruals: identify and record provisions and accruals.
• Full Fixed Asset Register: depreciation, capex, tagging, verification and reconciliation.
• Accounts Payable: record, reconcile and ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Payroll: ensure staff costs are recorded and salaries paid on time.
• Billing: raise, record and issue invoices accurately and on time.
• Be a key player in the finance team, supporting the business.
• Compliance: ensure IFRS compliance and coordinate external audits.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for carrying out the operations of transactional accounting including day to day management of billing, accounts payable, accounting and payroll. Ensure accurate and efficient reconciliation processes are developed, maintained and followed.

Requirements & Key Responsibilities:

• Balance sheet reconciliations: All assets and liabilities of the company are properly recorded and reconciled
• Transactional working capital: Ensure the bank transactions and balances are accurately recorded
• Provisions & Accruals: Ensure all provisions and accruals are identified and recorded
• Full Fixed Asset Register - Depreciation, Capex, Location, Tagging, Verifying, Reconciling: Ensure all fixed assets are recorded accurately and verified
• Accounts Payable: Ensure all purchase invoices and liabilities are recorded, reconciled and paid on time
• Payroll : Ensure all staff costs are accurately recorded and staff are paid on time
• Billing: Ensure all sales invoices are raised, recorded and issued accurately and on time
• Management : Be a key player in the finance team, actively discussing, collaborating and supporting the finance team and the business.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS and accounting standards for transaction recording. Co-ordinate and lead external audit of the company

Education Level: Post Graduate, Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA)
Minimum of 5 years PQE in the region.
Currently based in the UAE.
Management experience on 4+ Years
