Job summary

Seven Tides Limited seeks a Head Butcher for Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, part of the Colbert Collection, to lead the butchery team and ensure top-quality meat products in a luxury hotel environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in a large hotel, strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work in shifts while upholding strict food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large luxury hotel setting is preferred.
• Ability to uphold food safety and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of butchers in cutting, trimming, packaging, and displaying meat products
• Train butchers on meat cutting techniques, food safety standards, and customer service
• Ensure the quality, freshness, and proper storage of all meat products
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain equipment
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special orders
• Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations in the butchery department
• Ensure HACCP standards are implemented and follow hygiene standards as per Municipality requirements
• Conduct daily checks on the quality and freshness of products
• Monitor all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost

Position Overview

• Conduct daily checks on the quality and freshness of products
• Monitor all aspects pertaining to the control of the hotel’s food cost

Experience: Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required Pre-opening experience is an advantage

Requirement: Proven work experience as a Head Butcher Active listening and effective communication skills Flexibility to work in shifts Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
