Minor Hotels seeks an Assistant Bar Manager to support the Colbert Collection at Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel, overseeing daily bar operations and ensuring top guest service. You will assist in promotions, beverage purchasing, and maintaining brand standards under the Hotel & F&B leadership.

The role requires experience in a luxury hotel setting, strong communication, and the ability to lead a busy bar in a fast-paced environment, with shift flexibility and a focus on cost control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the daily operations of the bar
• Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the bar
• Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels
• Supervise, train, and motivate bar team members to deliver excellent service
• Be involved in the planning of promotions, beverage purchases, and pricing under the supervision of the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
• Supervise the daily operation under standards fixed by the Hotel Management and F&B Operations
• Control beverage costs, inventory levels, and stock ordering
• Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and compliance with brand standards
• Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses
• Participate actively in the creation of new drinks and snacks, improve presentations to achieve the overall objectives, and propose variations to the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
• Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding alcohol service and health & safety requirements.

Experience:

Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required Pre-opening experience is an advantage
