Client of Reap HR is seeking a hands-on Handyman General Maintenance and DIY Support Supervisor for a prestigious high-luxury resort hotel in Al Ain. The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day maintenance, perform minor repairs, and coordinate DIY support across the property to uphold hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise routine general maintenance and minor repair works across the property.
• Handle basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and fixture repairs as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify maintenance issues requiring attention.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Perform minor repairs in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities.
• Support preventive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns.
• Coordinate with specialized technicians for repairs needing electrical/HVAC expertise.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials in good condition.

We are urgently seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman General Maintenance amp DIY Support Supervisor for a leading high-luxury resort hotel in Al Ain The successful candidate will supervise and perform day-to-day general maintenance minor repairs preventive maintenance and DIY support across the hotel property The role requires a hands-on professional who can identify maintenance issues coordinate tasks efficiently and ensure guest rooms public areas back-of-house facilities fixtures and equipment are maintained to high hospitality standards

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and carry out routine general maintenance and minor repair works
• Handle basic carpentry plumbing painting patching fixture repairs and other handyman tasks
• Conduct regular inspections and identify maintenance issues requiring attention
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments
• Perform minor repairs in guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities
• Support preventive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns
• Supervise handyman maintenance support activities and ensure work is completed correctly
• Coordinate with specialized technicians for repairs requiring electrical HVAC plumbing or other technical expertise
• Maintain tools equipment and maintenance materials in good condition
• Ensure maintenance work is completed safely efficiently and with minimum disruption to hotel operations
• Maintain the appearance and functionality expected within a luxury hospitality environment
• Report major maintenance issues to the Engineering Maintenance management team

Previous Experience and Qualifications

Previous experience as a Handyman, General Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar role.Hospitality, hotel, resort, or facilities maintenance experience is strongly preferred.Good practical knowledge of general maintenance and DIY repair work.Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting, fixtures, furniture repairs, and general building maintenance.Ability to identify faults and carry out minor repairs independently.Previous supervisory or teamleading experience preferred.Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices.Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on maintenance work.Able to use common hand and power tools safely.Good problem-solving and time-management skills.Basic English communication skills.Professional appearance and attitude suitable for a luxury hotel environment.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality operation.
