Job summary

Client of Reap HR is seeking a hands-on Handyman General Maintenance and DIY Support Supervisor for a prestigious high-luxury resort hotel in Al Ain. The successful candidate will supervise day-to-day maintenance, perform minor repairs, and coordinate DIY support across the property to uphold hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in general maintenance within hospitality or hotel environments.
• Ability to identify faults and carry out minor repairs independently.
• Proven supervisory or team-leading experience in maintenance settings.
• Strong practical knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, painting and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise routine general maintenance and minor repair works across the property.
• Handle basic carpentry, plumbing, painting and fixture repairs as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify maintenance issues requiring attention.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel departments.
• Perform minor repairs in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities.
• Support preventive maintenance activities to minimize breakdowns.
• Coordinate with specialized technicians for repairs needing electrical/HVAC expertise.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials in good condition.
• Ensure maintenance work is safe, efficient and causes minimal disruption.
