The Carpentry Supervisor will support the Engineering Department by coordinating carpentry repairs, preventive maintenance, furniture restoration, and related building work across the hotel. The successful candidate should have at least two years of progressive experience in a hotel engineering or maintenance environment together with more than two years of practical building carpentry experience. Applicants must be confident repairing doors, locks, furniture, cabinets, wooden fixtures, decorative surfaces, and general hotel fittings. Experience with preventive maintenance, wooden polishing, furniture adjustment, and guest room repairs is important. The role requires someone who can organize daily work, supervise team activity, estimate materials, and complete repairs without compromising guest comfort or hotel presentation. Strong attention to detail, practical problem‑solving, safe tool handling, and the ability to cooperate with several hotel departments are essential.
